Abstract:
The objectives of the LTER Program are:
- to coordinate the core monitoring and associated research projects;
- to encourage full use of the plots by the scientific community in and outside of Switzerland;
- to ensure that all data obtained in the program are widely accessible; and
- to ensure that the program develops in accordance with national and international requirements.
Leading questions:
How can forest ecosystem research in Switherland best be coordinated with other European countries?
