Research Focus of the Institute:
The new interdisciplinary Institute of Ecology comprises botanists, zoologists, plant physiologists, evolutionary biologists, geneticists, ecologists and molecular biologists. The aim of the Institute is to develop a strong research program on the study of the interaction of genes with the environment. The Institute is currently organised in four laboratories, Botany (IE-BSG), Zoology (IE-ZEA), Plant Biology (IE-BPV) and Plant Cell Genetics (IE-PC).Go Back
