Future glacier evolution and consequences for the hydrology and the potential for glacier hazards in Switzerland
Reconstruct a detailed regional analysis of past glacier mass changes in the Swiss Alps, and thus mass balance and glacier evolution models. Analyse the impacts of the future glacier changes on the runoff of alpine streams from a sub-daily to a yearly time scale. Asess the likely evolution of the potential of glacier hazards based on the projected glacier changes.
