Die Erfassung der Moosflora der Alp Flix hat eine lange Tradition, denn sie begann bereits 1980. Bis zum Jahr 2007 wurden insgesammt 259 Moosarten erfasst. Geschätzte Maximalartenzahl >300 Arten.
