Impacts of climate change on forests, adaptation measures

I was the leader of the research programme "Forests and Climate Change" of FOEN and WSL (2009-2018) with >50 research projects. Moreover, I am project leader in projects related to 1) monitoring of forest nature reserves in Switzerland (co-leadership, since 2006), 2) experimental tree plantations (18 species, 7 provenances, 59 sites, 2017-2050), 3) field tests with non-native tree species, 4) cooperation with Ukrainian research institutions in forest research (2017-2020), 5) regeneration of mountain forests (2018-2050), 6) Tree App, which provides recommendations for climate-adapted tree species based on current site type and climate projections throughout Switzerland
