Specialties of Pascal Vittoz:
Vegetation communities in Switzerland, studied for example with permanent plots
Monitoring of permanent vegetation plots
I maintain a data base with permanent plots for vegetation (inventoried plots marked on the field with possibility of new inventories). I monitore some of these plots to record changes due to climate and other human influences. Most of the data are from the alpine belt, but I try to extend the available old data in lower altitudes.
