Objectives of OcCC: In 1997, a new Advisory Body on Climate Change Research and Policy was established by the Federal Department of the Interior (EDI). It is administered by ProClim- to support links between the scientific community, the private sector and the federal administration. It promotes climate research and supplies policy makers with knowledge and recommendations to support/improve a goal-oriented, sustainable climate policy.The advisory body consists of representatives from different scientific disciplines (natural, technical and social sciences), the private sector and various departments of the federal administration.
