General information and objectives

Das NFP hat den Auftrag, Ziel- und Handlungswissen für eine gesellschaftlich erwünschte, wirtschaftlich tragbare und politisch umsetzbare Landschaftsentwicklung zu erarbeiten. Endogene und exogene Kausalitäten der Landschaftsentwicklung sollen erkannt, Anforderungen und Normen für eine nachhaltige Landschaftsentwicklung erarbeitet und Handlungsmöglichkeiten in den relevanten Politik- und Handlungsfeldern aufgezeigt werden.

The NRP aims to acquire the knowledge on goals and actions needed for a socially desired, economically acceptable and politically feasible landscape development. Endogenous and exogenous causalities of landscape development should be recognised, requirements and standards for a sustainable landscape development should be analysed and possible approaches in the relevant political fields and scopes of actions should be elaborated.
